Album Pustý ostrov chrání 15.000 obyvatel vzniklo jako doprovodná složka stejnojmenného vizuálně-pohybového představení, které bylo koncipováno jako přehlídka kostýmů jednotlivých obyvatel ostrova, jejichž počet byl ustanoven na čísle 15.
Oslovily jsme devět mladých hudebníků s výzvou nahrát jeden track pro Pustý ostrov chrání 15.000 obyvatel. Jediným kritériem byl námi přiřazený název tracku pro každého z hudebníků. V tomto projektu jsou performerkami Zuzana Sceranková, Natálie Rajnišová, která jako obyvatel Coconaty reaguje zpěvěm a živou hrou na estonskou harfu na pohybovou složku, a Emílie Formanová.
Ostrov je kus pevniny, menší než kontinent a větší než skála, který vystupuje z vody. Pustý může znamenat: neobydlený, jednotvárný, ponurý, chmurný, nudný. Je to samostatný izolovaný ekosystém, na kterém platí specifické zákonitosti.
Ostrovy představují z hlediska vývoje jedinců zvláštní prostředí. Z důvodu nedostatku potravy se tady například setkáváme s formou nanismů, anebo naopak kvůli absenci přirozeného predátora s formou gigantismů. Diváci se postupně seznámí se všemi obyvateli. Těmito obyvateli jsou:

The album Deserted island with 15.000 inhabitants was created as an accompanying part of an eponymous audio-visual performance. The performance was arranged as inhabitants costumes fashion show. The inhabitants of the Island will introduced themselves by showing their costumes the number of which we settled on 15.
We addressed eight young musicians with a demand of recording a track for the Deserted Island with 15.000 inhabitants. The only criterium were the names of the tracks we assigned to each musician. Besides, the show presents the preformers Zuzana Sceranková, Natálie Rajnišová who will react to the recordings and the motion part by playing the Estonian harp and Emílie Formanová.
The Island is a piece of land, smaller than continent and bigger than a rock, which rises from the water. The “deserted” can stand for: uninhabited, isolated, desolate, neglected, lonely. Together with the audience, we would like to imagine us living on this Deserted Island. It is a self-dependent isolated ecosystem with a specific rules of law.

Because of the nurture deficiency, we are for example encountered with a form of dwarfisms, or contrarily, due to the lack of natural predators, with a form of giantisms. The inhabitants are:

Natálie Rajnišová & Zuzana Sceranková jsou autorské duo, které vytváří konceptuální performance na pomezí výtvarného umění, hudby a divadla. V roce 2016 se podílely v úzkém tvůrčím týmu s Klárou Hutečkovou a Jiřím Adámkem na představení s k o n č í t o ú s t a v divadle Disk, zkoumající scénografii jako autonomní složku představení a vztah těla a objektu. Autorky v projektu Pustý ostrov chrání 15.000 obyvatel navazují na tento výzkum a rozvíjí ho o práci s extenzivním kostýmem a hudbou.

Zuzana Sceranková & Natálie Rajnišová are an artistic duo creating conceptual performances on the border of fine arts, music and theatre. In 2016 they participated in a small creative team with Klára Hutečková and Jiří Adámek in the s k o n č í t o ú s t a (it will quit the lips) performance at the Disk Theater, exploring stage design as an autonomous part of a performance, and the relationship between the body and an object. In the project A Desert island with15.000 Inhabitants they follow up with this research and enrich it by working with extensive costume and music.
